Sr. Systems Engineer (Full time)


Requirements for the job :


The job requires a master’s degree in computer science, or its foreign equivalent; eight (8) years of experience in job offered, Senior Software Engineer, Principal Software Engineer or a related IT field. The past eight years of experience must include at least four (4) years of experience in: Responsible for various stages in full life cycle of development of enterprise level software; Perform software architectural analysis, code development, implementation of tools and subsystems to support automation of management processes and application programs; Utilizing Agile and Kanban; Application integration and testing; Createexternal design documentation; Perform systems analysis and programming tasks and troubleshoot production problems; and Mentor Junior Developers.

Job Duties:


  • Responsible for various stages of full software development life cycle (SDLC) of enterprise level software utilizing Agile and Kanban, implementing state of the art, security, high availability redundancy, user load code concurrency and optimization considerations.
  • Analyze user’s requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
  • Analyze system requirements and leads design and development activities.
  • Perform systems analysis and programming tasks and troubleshoot production problems.
  • Guide users in formulating requirements, advise alternative approaches, and conduct feasibility studies.
  • Mentor Junior Developers.
  • Provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.
  • Incorporate new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations.
  • Develop technical documentation.
  • Develop system Architecture and system design documentation.
  • Perform software architectural analysis, code development, implementation of tools and subsystems to support automation of management processes and application programs.
  • Design, develop, enhance, debug, and implement software, and make use of GitHub, Jira.
  • Design and develop database schemas using PostgreSQL.
  • Work on CFC database to create repository of the generated previews. (Paper Instruments, Respondent Materials).
  • Guide system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.
  • Interact with the end-users regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts.
  • Responsible for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility.
  • Communicate with other program personnel, organization’s overseers, and executives.
